Chocolate Mint Martini
There are few things we love more than the combo of rich chocolate and cool mint. Except maybe when you take that combo and turn it into a deliciously decadent marteani.
This bevvie uses our Read My Lips tea, a minty chocolate black tea sprinkled with fiery peppercorns and real candy lips, making it the flirtiest martini you’ll ever meet. We’re hoping it gives tea lovers (and other kinds) something to toast to.
We used vodka and Baileys in ours, but we’re always here for a good mocktail, so check the recipe for an alcohol-free take!
ingredients:
2 Perfect Spoons Read My Lips loose leaf tea loose leaf tea
½ cup milk of choice
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
1–2 tsp maple syrup
3 oz vodka*
3 oz Baileys*
Ice
*Skipping the booze? Double the chocolate milk recipe and add 2 oz of cream instead!

Chill a martini glass.

Heat ½ cup milk until hot but not boiling.

Whisk in cocoa powder and maple syrup until fully dissolved.

Add tea and steep for 5 minutes.

Strain out the tea and let the chocolate milk cool completely.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Strain out the tea and let the chocolate milk cool completely.

Add chocolate milk, vodka and Baileys, then shake for 6–8 seconds.

Strain into the chilled martini glass.

Garnish with chocolate syrup or shavings!
