Two Ways to Sip Some Sunshine with Sunny C Tea
Praise the tea gods, winter is behind us. Spring has finally arrived and we’re all going to start feeling fresh and energized. Okay, who are we kidding? We all need a serious boost this time of the year. So we’ve put together two tea-infused recipes with a rejuvenating twist of Vitamin C to help you transition into the new season.
Featuring our vibrant Sunny C tea, both our hot Immune Boost and iced Tonic are bursting with freshly squeezed orange, sight saving carrot and a sunny dose of Vitamin C. Enjoy them virgin or with a touch of alcohol.

Sunny C Immune Boost
Sunny C Immune Boost
| Serves | One 16oz cup |
| Cook time | 6 minutes |
Ingredients
- 4 Perfect Spoonfuls of Sunny C
- 2 cups near-boiling (90°C) water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp ginger, grated fresh
- orange or lemon slices
- 1 drops of oregano oil or Echinacea tincture* (*read the label to make sure the product is suitable for you)
Directions
| Step 1 | |
| In a Steeper, combine tea and near-boiling water and steep for 5 min. | |
| Step 2 | |
| In a mug, add honey, grated ginger, orange or lemon slices and 1 drop of oregano oil or Echinacea tincture. | |
| Step 3 | |
| Pour steep tea on top, stir and sip up. | |

Sunny C Tonic
Sunny C Easter Tonic
| Serves | One 16oz mug |
| Cook time | 6 minutes |
Ingredients
- 4 Perfect Spoonfuls of Sunny C tea
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp agave
- 1 ½ oz vodka*
- Tonic water
- Turmeric, grated
- Ginger, grated
- Orange slices
Directions
| Step 1 | |
| Steep tea in 1 cup of hot water with agave for 5 min, then strain and discard the leaves | |
| Step 2 | |
| In a highball glass filled with ice, add vodka and 4 oz of steeped tea. Top with tonic water and gently stir. | |
| Step 3 | |
| Add orange slices and top with freshly grated ginger and turmeric. Cheers! | |
| Step 4 | |
| BONUS: Tastes just as amazing without alcohol. | |
